Answer:

(a) 18x

(b) 8x^2

(c) (i) 9 feet

(ii) 72 feet

Explanation:

(a) Let x be the width.

x+x+8x+8x= 18x

(b) 8x×x= 8x^2

(c) (i) 18x= 162 feet

x= 9 feet

(ii) 8x= 8×9

= 72 feet
