How does Hinduism affect the way ancient Indians lived day to day? How do those beliefs still affect Hindus today?

Answer: 1. Hinduism's idea of reincarnation sets a caste system that affected the Indians socially. Every caste had rules on who you can marry and the jobs you can do. The people at the top were priests and the lowest were people who were "cursed".

2. Hindus try to break the cycle of samsara which they can do by using the good deeds from their past lives and adding them to their current lives.
