Is the relation shown a function explain

Output 1 9 16 27

Something can be described as a function if there is only 1 of each number in the input or x.

For example: (9,6) and (9,3) would not be a function because there are two 9’s as the input.

So, for this problem there are two 3’s meaning this is NOT function because there are two outputs for the same number.

Your answer is going to be D.
