What might cause a sudden increase in the population of this organism(scorpion)? How might this affect the ecosystem? (How would other organisms be affected? How would this affect the available resources? Be specific).

If the Scorpions’ natural predator suddenly decreased, there would be an increase in scorpions. Then, whatever scorpions eat would decrease-if other organisms depended on that food source it would be harder for them to get that food since there are more organisms trying to compete for the same food source
