Find the solution to the system: x=2y-7 and 4x+y=71

4*(2y-7)+y=71

8y-28+y=71

9y=71+28

y=99/9

So y=11

Again putting value of y in first equation

x=2*11-7

x=22-7

x=15

So value if x is 15 and y is 11
