Hey there!

1/5x + 1/2(3/5x - 20)

DISTRIBUTE 1/2 within the PARENTHESES:
= 1/5x + 1/2(3/5x) + 1/2(-20)

= 1/5x + 3/10x - 10

COMBINE the TERMS

= (1/5x + 3/10x) - (10)

= 1/5x + 3/10x - 10

= 1/2x - 10

Therefore, your should be:

1/2x - 10

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
