Based on this map, why do you think certain countries are wealthy?

Most of these wealthy countries control a vast amount of EEZs(Exclusive Economic Zone). They also have vital and important ports/cities. What we can sum up, with my statement, is that most countries that have ocean access are generally wealthy.
