Why do African people have dark skin?​

Because of evolution. This is why every part of the world is different. In Africa, you see dark colored skin people because they have evolved to and develop darker skin to protect themselves from the sun in harmful ways. In Africa, and South Asia, where or near the equator, are some of the areas in the world with the highest UV radiation.
