Answer: 149 cm^3

To find the volume for a cube, the formula is V = a^3, where a = length of one side.

Smaller cube:

a = 3

(3)^3, or 3 x 3 x 3

= 27 cm^3

Larger cube:

a = 5

(5)^3, or 5 x 5 x 5

= 125 cm^3

To find the volume of the entire sculpture, add the volumes of each of the cubes.

27 + 125

= 149 cm^3
