The equation for slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

We have (0, -6) as our x1 and y1 and (2,0) as our y1 and y2. So now it's plug and play!

=(0-(-6))/(2-0)

=(0+6)/(2-0)

=(6)/(2)

Simplifying this we get 3/1 or in simple terms... 3
