An equilateral triangle is one in which all three sides are congruent. It also has the property that all three interior angles are equal. In other words, all three angles of an equilateral triangle are always 60°.

So ∠ABE = 90+60=150.

because ABCD is square so AB = BC

because BEC is equilateral triangle, so BC = BE = AB

so we know in ABE triangle the 2 sharp angles are the same

so ∠AEB = (1/2) * (180-150) = 15

so ∠DAE = 90-15 =75
