H(x) = 3x; Find h(-6)

Whenever you see something like this, or usually it’s f(x). Simply take the given number and plug it into x. So in this case, we are given the equation h(x)=3x and asked to find h(-6). Simply replace the x in the equation with -6.
h(x)=3x
h(x)=3(-6)
h(x)=-18
