What is the density of a metal block with a volume of 100 cm3 and a mass of 159 g?

Mass (M) = 159 g

Density (D) =?

We know density is defined as mass per unit volume so

D = m / v

= 159 / 100

= 1.59 g /cm³

The density of the metal block is 1.59 g/cm³.
