  • MR⊥AY

We got two right triangles with common side and equal corresponding sides and we'll prove they are congruent by SAS.

  • AR = YR Definition of a midpoint
  • ∠MRA is a right angle Definition of perpendicular
  • ∠MRY is a right angle Definition of perpendicular
  • ∠MRA ≅ ∠MRY Transitive property
  • MR = MR Reflective property
  • ΔMAR ≅ ΔMYR SAS congruence
