Answer: Stress can be defined as the internal resistive force to the deformation per unit area. It is a type of change that causes physical, emotional or psychological strain.

Pressure can be defined as the amount of force applied per unit area

Explanation: And due to the stress, pressure will not be developed and similarly due to the pressure, stress will not be developed.

Stress is the same as pressure, the difference is the force in pressure is external but the force in stress is internal which stops it to change its shape or size.
