Answer: Crossing "over" and "Independent" assortment.

Explanation: This is because when gamete cells combines DNA diversified itself by the chromosome splitting part of itself and attaching to another chromosome which represents crossing over. Independent assortment occurs when the chromosome for each parent breaks apart from each other and attaches to the other gamete's chromosomes. Both these are used in meiosis to create genetic variation
