What is the equation of a circle with a center (−3, −2) and radius of 5?

HELPPPPPPP!!!!!!

(x − 3)2 + (y − 2)2 = 25

(x − 3)2 + (y − 2)2 = 5

(x + 3)2 + (y + 2)2 = 5

(x + 3)2 + (y + 2)2 = 25

What is the equation of a circle with a center (−3, −2) and radius of 5? HELPPPPPPP-example-1

Your answer is D, (x+3)2 + (y+2)2 = 25 because the radius is always the square root of what the equation equals in this form. The square root of 25 is 5. As for the coordinates, when put into the equations the signs flip so they become +. :)
