Homosexuals were targeted because they did not meet Hitler’s standard of the Aryan race he hoped to create. The Nazi’s also said that they wanted to keep the birthrate high, which homosexuals could not help with. Some were persecuted and sent to regular prisons while many were sent to concentration camps.
