Step by step
Find two points on the line and subtract, slope is change in y over change in x
(0, -5) and (3, -7)
-7 - -5 over 3 - 0 = -2/3 slope
You can also draw your slope with these two points and count rise over run, rise -2 down and run right + 3 = -2/3
