This is actually for my Earth and Space science class but I’m really curious if anyone know the culture of the people on the Kuril Islands. I can’t find it anywhere.

multiple different things:

the people who live there over the islands: Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Tatars, Nivkhs, Oroch, and Ainus.

the language spoken: Russian is the predominant language; however, some Japanese is spoken as well.

there known for their 'Ring of Fire' which has over 100 volcanos and 35 of them still active.
