First you have to check if they have common denominator. If so, add the numerators and keep the denominator. If Not, you have to find common denominator before added. After that, check if your fraction need to be simplify.

Solve:

Least common multiplier of 10 and 5 is 10


(3)/(10)+(2)/(5)

Since
(3)/(10) already have a denominator of 10 we keep it.


(2)/(5)=
(2*2)/(5*2)
=(4)/(10)

Now we have;


(3)/(10)+(4)/(10)

Apply fraction Rule which is;
(a)/(c)+(b)/(c)=(a+b)/(c)


=(3+4)/(10)

3 + 4 = 7


=(7)/(10)

Hence,
(3)/(10)+(2)/(5)=(7)/(10)
