2 - Woodrow Wilson was the Donkey, or the Democratic Party, Taft was the Elephant, or the Republican Party, and Teddy was the Moose, or the Bull Moose Party. Since many individuals favored a Republican President at the time the votes were split and divided towards Taft and Teddy, because Teddy ran as the third party candidate. So the majority of the vote went to Woodrow Wilson.
