Okay, so um important life question here: Do I need to take Algebra 3 in HS in order to become a veterinarian?

Answer: You do need Algebra, all of it.

Explanation: minimum requirement to gain admittance to a veterinary school includes algebra and trigonometry and two semesters of calculus. Most veterinary schools do not accept students who have not taken calculus, even if their published requirement only lists algebra and trigonometry.

Answer: No. Algebra 3 is usually an honors class. As long as you have taken Algebra 1 and 2 you should be all set.
