thousands of years.
The walls of my house are made from stones that were found in the area. They were once used by an ancient Maya tribe to build th
beautiful temples and carvings. Through these stones I feel connected to my remarkable ancestors.
My family tends animals and farms the land. We grow sweet potatoes, corn, beans, chilies, and squash, just as our Maya ancestors
doing for thousands of years.
