(Transitive example: Y/N tasted my bagel- tasted what? tasted the bagel)

(intransitive example: Kathleen Battle, the opera star, sings amazingly well- sings what amazingly well? you don't know making it intransitive)

Transitive verb: Obeys (Christine daae obeys the Phantom's commands).
