The epic of gilgamesh does not exactly have a happy ending. certainly the hero, gilgamesh, is not ultimately successful in his quest. why do you think the epic ends as it does and not in a more positively heroic way?

Answer:

I think the reason of gilgamesh had an epicends and not more positive heroic way, because gilgamesh was a dictator. he thought of his to be as his inferior, he declared 1st right on every woman
