A home is just a shell; it serves only as shelter. Some homes provide comforts that make them simpler to utilize.

A home is a place where people live permanently. The house and its occupants' interactions with one another are what give it the feeling of being a home.

The "hominess" of the same house will vary depending on the occupants. A home is more about the intangible emotional connection to that area than the actual, physical space itself.

Even because hotel rooms only contain temporary occupant, they are rarely considered to be actual homes.
