The law of reflection states that when a ray of light reflects off a surface, the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.

Answer:

The phenomenon of bouncing back of the light in the same medium and it is incident on a surface or strikes any surface is called reflection of light.

There are three laws of reflection:

  • the angle of reflection (r) is equal to the angle of incidence (i) [<r = <i]
  • the incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal lie on the same plane.
  • the incident ray and the reflected ray are on the opposite sides of the normal.
  • Which looks somewhat like \|/
