I set 6 as the mid point
7 = 5 so 8 = 4

I figured out a pattern in this equation
8 * 7 = 56
7 * 6 = 42
6 * 5 = 30

So you can assume that you can do it like this:
9 * 8 = 72
Since 9 = 3 the answer is 72
