What would happen to the growth curve if a new predator were introduced into a environment?

well I wouldn't say everything changes but the food chain might. and my question is and maybe yours but what kind of animal, to be more descriptive what food chain wou.d it be because you didn't say that.

The food web would be completely messed up. The introduced species would be consuming the native predators' prey, and also perhaps the native predators themselves, causing a decrease and perhaps extinction in native species.
