178.5=51/2•21/3
51/2= 25.5
21/3=7
25.5•7=178.5

51/2 is equal to 51 ÷ 2, so if you do the math and divide 51 by 2 which is equal to 25.5, and divide 21 by 3 which equals to 7 it'll come up as 25.5 × 7 = 178.5. Hope this helps you :)
