What was the name of the series of laws put in place to encourage the 13 English colonies to trade with England?

The correct answer is the Navigation Acts. Basically, the Englishmen and the King wanted to create a monopoly over the colonies' trading because they wanted to become more rich. They made the acts to prevent the colonies from trading with France and Spain and others who they didn't think of as enemies.
