\sf{Volume~of~a~cylinder=\pi r^2 h

Radius = 6 inches.
Height = 9 inches.

\sf{Volume~of~a~cylinder=\pi (6^2)(9)

Simplify.

\sf{Volume~of~a~cylinder=\pi 36(9)

\sf{Volume~of~a~cylinder=324 \pi

Your final answer is D. 324π in³

- - Solve:

Volume of a cylinder: π*
R^2*H

R=Radius
H=Height

So if we know the R in this is 6 and the height is 9 we can plug in our variables:

π*
6^2*9

But since the original equation is telling us to multiply by π, but in the question its not telling us to, then we don't. So take that out and you get

6^2*9

Solve for that:

324π
in^3

Is your answer.

(D)
