The correct answer is C) stability.

Although Napoleon crowned himself emperor, he was generally welcome as a leader because he offered stability.

Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) was the military leader and Emperor of France that offered stability and better conditions for the people from France. He conquered many new territories for France and established the Continental System to block trade with the British. So it is correct to say that although Napoleon crowned himself emperor, he was generally welcome as a leader because he offered stability.
