Write solve a division problem that divides a 4-digit number by a 2-digit number. How did you estimate the first digit of the quotient?

1000 divided by 10 = 100 i estimated the first digit as 0 because 10 cant go into 1 so you go to the next number which is 10........ 10 can go into 10 one time so then you go to 0 because you used the 1st two together so 10 cant go into 0 so the answer is 0 then the same for  the next digit ..
