Lets look at the info we have:-

28 miles per gallon
55 mph
2.75 hrs

Lets solve:-

55 mile per hr
2.75 hr

55 × 2.75 = 151.25

151.25 ÷ 28 = 5.401.... round to 5

So, in 2.75 hrs about 5 gallons of gas will be used.

Hope i helped ya!! xD

28 miles per gallon of gas.

55 miles per hour * 2.75 hours = 151.25

Now, divide.

151.25/28 = about 5 gallons.

Answer: about 5 gallons of gas would be used.
