(7)/(9)=(b)/(b-10)\\\\cross\ multiply\\\\9b=7(b-10)\\9b=7b-70\ \ \ \ |subtract\ 7b\ from\ both\ sides\\2b=-70\ \ \ \ \ \ |divide\ both\ sides\ by\ 2\\\\\boxed{b=-35}
