People are less able to fight off disease, which means they get more diseases and those diseases are harder to remove. This is what happens with autoimmune diseases such as HIV/AIDS

Compromised immune system can be defined as the condition in which the immune system of the body is weaken which means the immune system fails. In this case the body is at risk of acquiring harmful diseases. Sometimes, an individual is born with inadequate immune system which contributes to immunodeficiency diseases because the normal response of immune system is absent.

  • In this case the individual gets sick because the body has decreased or no resistance of immune system.
  • The disease like AIDS and lymphoma attacks the body and leaves it open for further infection. These kind of people become ill very frequently.
