PUNCTUATION IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT TELLS YOU WHEN THE PERSON HAS STOPPED THEIR THOUGHT SO YOU DON'T GET THE WRONG MESSAGE PUNCTUATION MARKS ARE LIKE STREET SIGNS THEY TELL YOU WHEN TO STOP AND GO AND WHERE TO GO AFTER THEY ARE IMPORTANT BECUAUSE THE PERSON COULD GET THE WRONG MESSAGE WHICH WOULD BE BAD THIS IS BAD BECAUSE THE WRONG MESSAGE MIGHT BE ACTED ON THE WRONG WAY

That previous paragraph was how writing was in the olden days: all CAPS and no punctuation

an example of how punctuation can save lives:
Let's eat, grandma.
Let's eat grandma
Use commas, save a life

another example:
I like eating, my family, and my friends.
I like eating my family and my friends.
Use commas, don't be a serial killer

I hope you learned alot from my speech
