A longer constitution will have specific rules on how to deal with different, specific issues. It leaves fewer vague provisions, allowing for less need for interpretation by future generations. [PLATO]

A longer constitution means that the text is longer, which means that it contains more information and more laws. This then means that after the adoption of the constitution there are less issues which are unregulated, and the society is saving some time which it would need to regulate those issues if it has a shorter constitution.
