When simplifying rational numbers, what would the answer be to 57/69:

(57)/(69)=(57)/(69)*1=(57)/(69)*(3)/(3)=(19)/(23)=

To simplify this expression multiplied at the beginning of the expression by 1, which does not change the result, then I expanded number one to three thirds. Then I shortened a threesome with the number 69, and the other of 57 (on the cross).

You don't simplify rational numbers, but sometimes you can simplify a fraction.
The way to do that is to divide the top and bottom by their greatest common factor.

The greatest common factor of 57 and 69 is 3 . When you divide the top and
bottom by 3 , you have 19/23 . That's the simplest form of that particular fraction.
