A lord granted an estate called a fief to a vassal in exchange for a pledge of loyalty is true. Feudalism is a government system wherein a nation or state is distributed into regions. Each region is ruled by a ‘feudal lord’ who is a noble and pledges loyalty to the monarch. *Its pros are the following: *There is always a job for anyone when needed. Since there are regions, the feudal lords could protect the region they are assigned to, to any potentials robberies or dangers. Its cons are the following: *Power and authority can be abused and people hoping for change would be threatened. *Regions are isolated amongst one another hindering growth to people to explore to other regions.
