Cierra has 3 more than one half as many purses as Aisha.

Define a variable and write an expression to represent the number of purses in cierra's collection. Then find the number of purses in cierra's collection if Aisha had 12 purses ?

Aisha has 12 purses. 1/2 of 12 is 6. 6+3=9 Cierra has 9 purses.
