m = (y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2) - x_(1)) = (-1 - 5)/(3 - (-4)) = (-6)/(3 + 4) = (-6)/(7) = -(6)/(7)

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)
y - 5 = ⁻⁶/₇(x - (-4))
y - 5 = ⁻⁶/₇(x + 4)
y - 5 = ⁻⁶/₇(x) - ⁶/₇(4)
y - 5 = ⁻⁶/₇x - 3³/₇
+ 5 + 5
y = ⁻⁶/₇x + 1⁴/₇
