Here is an quick example A "quick picture" is an estimate than? 5 x 2.7 ..... 5 x 3= 15 Its been a long time since elementary school and I do not remember "quick picture" The question was How can you use a "quick picture" to find 5 x 2.7? the answer is 13.5.......an estimate would be 15

5×2.7=13.5
7×2=35, carry the 3.
5×2=10, then add the 3 that was on top and then bring down the final result 13.
Once you've done that you have 135. Your final step is to move the decimal one place to the left which you then get 13.5.
Your final result is 13.5.
