You use 6 gallons of water on 20 plants in your garden. At that rate, how much water will it take to water 30 plants?

9 gallons. Divide 6/20 to find the unit rate, how much water you will need to water one plant, .3 gallons of water per plant. Then multiply that times 30, which is 9
