Lets simplify each, then compare.

40% of 180

40/100 = x/180

0.4 = x/180

180 * 0.4 = 72

1/4 of 320

1/4 = x/320

4*x = 320
4x/4 = 320/4

x = 80

72 < 80

Answer:- 1/4 of 320 is larger.

Which is bigger 40% of 180 or 1/4 of 320
