The Roman Forum is a plaza or a rectangular forum which is surrounded by the ruins of some historically significant government structures and buildings right at the center of Rome. This was originally a marketplace. It was also called the Forum or Forum Magnum. For many centuries, it has been the center of public life in Rome.
