Answer: True

The protagonist of a narrative is the main character. He is the leading character of the story and the one who makes the main decisions. He is also the one who has to live with the consequences of these decisions. On the other hand, the antagonist is the character who is in direct opposition to the protagonist. The antagonist and the protagonist are engaged in an external conflict.
