You have to solve the system of equations for 'x' and 'y'. When you do that,
you discover that x=0.846 and y=3.076. So Y > X .

\left\{\begin{array}{ccc}(3x-1)/(2y)=1\\x+2y=7\end{array}\right\\\\\left\{\begin{array}{ccc}(3x-1)/(2y)=1\\2y=7-x\end{array}\right\\\\substitute:\\\\(3x-1)/(7-x)=1\iff3x-1=7-x\\\\3x+x=7+1\\4x=8\\x=2\\\\2y=7-2\\2y=5\\y=2.5\\\\Answer:D)\ y > x
